We specialize in Medieval and Renaissance music
The Piping Rock Singers is a 16-voice ensemble drawn from the greater Houston area who specialize in Medieval and Renaissance music. The chorus was formed in 1995 and has given concerts at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham, Christ the King Lutheran Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and St. Philip Presbyterian Church. The chorus has participated the Houston Early Music Festival, the Texas Renaissance Festival, entertained for Houston Grand Opera, and furnished music for weddings and funerals and other private functions.

We rehearse Monday evenings at 7 p.m. Rehearsals last 90 minutes. Additional rehearsals take place before concert weeks. Singers need to attend all rehearsals. New singers join the chorus through auditions. Please contact us at info@pipingrocksingers.com to arrange an audition.
